Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts is the last team that could be looking for help at the defensive end position. However, Trent Murphy would keep a similar role to the one he has with the Buffalo Bills.
The Colts have been using primarily a three-man rotation at the position with Denico Autry leading the way in snaps at 74%. However, it is Justin Houston who is leading the Colts in sacks with 3.5 already this year. The third defensive end is Al-Quandin Muhammad, who was a sixth round pick in 2017 and is playing around 54% of the snaps.
If the Colts want to add another veteran to this group to help shoulder some of the workloads, maybe getting to an even 50% rotation between the four pass rushers, a player like Trent Murphy would make sense for another team that believes they are in the playoff hunt.
