Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans tried right before the start of the season to help their edge position with the signing of Jadeveon Clowney. However, they have struggled to get much pressure on the opposing quarterback and have only seven sacks in six games this year.

A veteran like Trent Murphy would be a nice addition to this defense because while Murphy has played defensive end in a 4-3 defense for the Bills, he did play outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense. This is the same defensive front that the Titans run and it provides the Titans flexibility to switch between the two defenses and Murphy can contribute in both.

The Titans as they right now look to be one of the best teams in the AFC at 5-1 however once the playoffs come around they are going to be facing some good quarterbacks. One of the best things they can do is get pressure on these quarterbacks and a player like Murphy makes sense.
