Defensive Tackle

The Kansas City Chiefs were able to get almost anything they wanted on the ground against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. It remains to be seen if this was the gameplan and the Bills were selling out stopping Patrick Mahomes through the air and willing to give up five or six yards per run on the ground.

While it wasn’t an awful game plan, one thing was clear is that the Buffalo Bills just don’t have enough size in the interior. The absence of Star Lotulelei is proving to be a bigger issue than initially thought.

The Buffalo Bills do have the right tackles to get pressure on the quarterback on passing downs but don’t have that big body that can command two blockers and clog running lanes. Fortunately for the Bills there are a potential number of tackles available that could fill this role.

This should be a top priority for Brandon Beane leading up to the trade deadline.
