Tight Ends

The Buffalo Bills were without their starting tight end Dawson Knox but this gave Tyler Kroft another chance to start for the Bills. However, this week was very different than his last start when he caught two touchdowns. This week, Kroft finished with only one reception for seven yards on two targets.

Similar to the wide receiver position, tight ends are going to be reliant on Josh Allen. When the Buffalo Bills quarterback is off, their performance will suffer.

Offensive Line

We can start with the good here which was that for the most part the pass protection held up well and Josh Allen wasn’t sacked once, although he was hit five times during the course of the game. The Bills were able to do that even losing Cody Ford in the second half of this game.

However, the run blocking continues to struggle as this run game can’t seem to get anything going. The Bills finished this game with an average of 3.7 yards per carry but if Allen’s numbers are removed it drops to 2.8 yards per carry.
