These are the grades for every position for the Buffalo Bills from their 26-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
After not suffering a loss through the first four games of the season, the Buffalo Bills are now stuck in their first losing streak of the season. After a 42-16 blowout loss to the Tennessee Titans, the Bills have come back and suffered a 26-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night.
There really is not one position or area to point to that was the reason for the Buffalo Bills loss. This was across the board a disappointing performance from this team. The grades this week reflect that for the Buffalo Bills.
Quarterback
Through the first four games, Josh Allen was squarely in the MVP discussion. He took a step backward last week against the Tennessee Titans but still did some things that pointed to it just being a temporary setback.
However, there should be a real concern for Allen after his performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. The third-year quarterback saw what was his biggest concern, his accuracy, be a major issue in this game. He finished the game completing only 14 of 27 passes for 122 passing yards with two touchdowns and one late interception. He also added 42 rushing yards in this game.
While not everything is lost from the first four weeks of the season, the coaching staff needs to figure out a way to get Josh Allen back into that rhythm he showed to start the year. Until they can do that, this offense and team are going to struggle.
