Trade for James Conner

This would undoubtedly cost the most for the Buffalo Bills but if they want to find a true impact running back, James Conner may end up being their best bet. The Pittsburgh Steelers running back is off to a great start after suffering an injury in Week 1. He bounced back with back to back games with over 100 rushing yards and has had a rushing touchdown each of the past three games.

So why would the Pittsburgh Steelers consider trading their starting running back? Well, he is currently in a contract year and if the Steelers are not planning on re-signing him then trading him at this point in the season would make sense to try and get something back instead of letting him walk for nothing.

The Steelers also have some excellent depth at the position with Benny Snell Jr., who did a great job replacing Conner in Week 1 against the New York Giants, Jaylon Samuels and fourth round rookie Anthony MacFarland Jr.

There is no indication that the Steelers are interested in trading Conner but it could make sense if the price was right.
