These are the position grades for the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Buffalo Bills move to 4-0 on the season, the first time since the 2008 season. They were able to do it thanks to a 30-23 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, the first time in franchise history they have played in Las Vegas.

This game the Bills improved in a number of areas that were concerning but have continued to struggle in other areas. This is how each position group did in their Week 4 matchup with the Raiders.

Quarterback

It wasn’t Josh Allen‘s best game of the 2020 season but it was certainly better than any game he had prior to this year. The fact that some could be disappointed with Allen completing 24 of 32 passes for 288 passing yards with two passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and no turnovers speaks to the progress he has made as a quarterback.

This was a game where some of Josh Allen’s bad traits did resurface and the coaching staff will need to address it. There are too many times where the Bills franchise quarterback wants to try so bad to make a play that it becomes a negative.

This was evident on two plays, one in the first half when he hurt his shoulder, and then in the fourth quarter when the team was in field goal range but he took a sack on third down that cost them 14 yards and the team was forced to punt.

In the end, the good outweighed the bad but this was not the level of play Josh Allen has shown the first three weeks.
