Buffalo Bills: Week 4 inactives for Bills against the Las Vegas Raiders
These are the players that are inactive for the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Buffalo Bills knew coming into this game that they would be without linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips who had already been ruled out on Friday. The backup is joined this week on the inactive list by quarterback Jake Fromm, running back Zack Moss, offensive lineman Ike Boettger, and tight end Lee Smith.
This is the fourth straight game that Fromm and Boettger have been inactive for the Bills.
The absence of Zack Moss is not a huge surprise considering that the rookie running back did miss last week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams and was only able to practice on a limited basis in every practice this week.
One player who isn’t inactive, and will be making his debut with the Buffalo Bills, is cornerback Josh Norman. The veteran was signed as a free agent this offseason and had been competing with Levi Wallace for the starting cornerback job during training camp.
It appeared he had won the job after being named the starter on the team’s first depth chart. However, Norman suffered a hamstring injury during training camp, and the team elected to place him on injured reserve at the start of the year.
Josh Norman was able to practice all this week and was activated from the injured reserve on Saturday. The question now is whether Norman gets the start or the coaching staff elects to rotate the two players at that position.
The Buffalo Bills also will have defensive end Mario Addison available for this game. The veteran pass rusher was a surprise addition to the injury report on Friday and was listed as questionable.
The Buffalo Bills game today against the Las Vegas Raiders will kickoff at 4:25 PM on CBS.
