Buffalo Bills: Ranking Josh Allen in the MVP Race after Week 3
4. Patrick Mahomes (QB, Kansas City Chiefs)
Last week: NR
Since two weeks was such a small sample size, it was hard to include Patrick Mahomes after good but not great weeks to start the year. That certainly changed on Monday night as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback picked apart a very good Ravens’ defense.
Mahomes finished the game completing 31 of 42 passes for 385 passing yards and four passing touchdowns with 26 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. He now has 898 passing yards with 10 total touchdowns and no interceptions.
The addition of Clyde Edwards-Helaire to this offense could mean that Patrick Mahomes may not be asked to put up the huge passing numbers he has in the past. However considering the Chiefs look to be one of the best teams in the NFL and Patrick Mahomes is their best player, he will finish near the top in MVP voting this year.
