Stock Up: Tyler Kroft

The Buffalo Bills signed Tyler Kroft as a free agent last offseason but a foot injury during OTAs essentially cost him the entire 2019 season. By the time he was recovered and ready to contribute, Dawson Knox had a firm grasp on the starting tight end job.

On Sunday against the Rams, Kroft finally got that chance to really show what he could do and in his first career start finished with four receptions, 24 yards, and two touchdowns. The second touchdown was the game-winner with 15 seconds left that put the Buffalo Bills in the lead for good.

The question now is where the Buffalo Bills go from here after Kroft’s performance. It remains to be seen when Knox returns to the field as he still needs to go through concussion protocol so Kroft could see more playing time in the near future.

However, even once Knox comes back he should remain apart of this offense, specifically in the red zone.
