Final Score Prediction

As many Bills fans learned last week, this Buffalo Bills defense is night and day without Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano. They truly have a large impact on opposing passing attacks as well as the consistency for the Bills to stop the run. Going into Week 3, their status for the game is still up in the air, but it seems to be trending in the direction of them being active. Even if just one of the two linebackers is active for this game against the Los Angeles Rams, it will go a long way.

With the amount of zone the Bills like to play in coverage and the number of crossing routes the Rams like to run on offense, the Buffalo defense needs to be sound in communication when passing off crossers to each respective zone. Although both the Rams and Bills have strong defenses, both offenses have been producing above expectations through two weeks of the season and expect that to continue in this contest.

Barring any inclement weather in Orchard Park on Sunday, this should be a high scoring game with both offenses moving the ball with ease for a majority of the game. This seems like a game that could come down to whichever team has the ball last.

For this Week 3 matchup, my prediction is for the Bills to come out on top with a 31-27 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. I’m expecting the Rams to be down four points on their final drive of the game needing a touchdown to win, but the Bills make a key stop on this drive to seal the victory.

With how great both these teams are playing so far, one way or another, good or bad for the Bills, I believe this game will be decided by the final drive.

Prediction: Bills win 31-27
