4. Lamar Jackson, QB (Baltimore Ravens)

While the Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback is not off to the same historic start he had last year, he is the reigning MVP and is still playing at a high level. In the first two games, Lamar Jackson has thrown for 479 passing yards, completing nearly 78% of his passes with four passing touchdowns and no interceptions.

One of the reasons Jackson is so special is because of his ability to make plays with his legs. Last year, the Ravens quarterback ran for over 1,200 yards, and this year he has 99 rushing yards which would put him on pace for 800 rushing yards.

One of the reasons that his stats aren’t greater is because the Ravens haven’t needed him to do more. They have blown out their first two opponents, the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texans, by a combined score of 71-22.

The Ravens will likely need more from Lamar Jackson as the season goes on and he should remain in the discussion for MVP.
