Stock Up: Tyrel Dodson

The Buffalo Bills defense was undoubtedly in a tough position with Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano both out for Week 2. The Bills spend a significant amount of time in a nickel formation and this responsibility fell on Tyrel Dodson and A.J. Klein as well as Dodson responsible for receiving the play call from the sideline.

While Dodson was shaky early on, he improved as the game went on and showed enough that the coaching staff should feel confident starting him for another game, or until Tremaine Edmunds returns.

He finished the game with eight total tackles, one tackle for a loss as well as two passes defended. After the game, Sean McDermott was asked about Dodson and he was very complimentary about the growth Dodson has had over the past two seasons.
