Stock Down: Levi Wallace

While Levi Wallace was the leading tackler for the Buffalo Bills, this was not a good game for the starting cornerback. The reason he finished with so many tackles is that the Dolphins had a clear gameplan to throw in his direction and they were successful for most of the game.

Entering training camp, Wallace is in a position battle with Josh Norman for the starting job opposite Tre’Davious White. It appeared that Wallace had lost that battle as Norman was named the starter.

However, prior to Week 1, the Bills placed Norman on injured reserve and it was once again Wallace’s job. This presented a great opportunity for him to earn the job over at least the first three weeks while Norman worked back from his hamstring injury.

This doesn’t appear to be the case and the Buffalo Bills will likely look to Norman to step into the starting lineup when he is healthy and able to return.
