Buffalo Bills Running Back

When an offense has a quarterback throwing for over 400 yards, the run game isn’t as important. Devin Singletary and Zack Moss did show some improvements on the ground, they combined for 93 rushing yards on 18 carries for an average of 5.1 yards per carry.

They also each had a carry over 10 yards, with Singletary running for 18 yards and Moss running for 14. Those 14 yards by Moss on the one carry surpassed his entire total from Week 1.

The concern is that this still isn’t near the expectations many had for these two running backs. At some point, the Bills running backs are going to need to show more, or opposing defenses will start putting more defenders back to stop the pass.

Grade: C

Buffalo Bills Wide Receivers

Josh Allen would not be able to do what he has done without a great group of wide receivers. That is exactly what the Buffalo Bills have led by Stefon Diggs, who had eight receptions for 153 yards and one touchdown.

However, for the second straight week, John Brown had another touchdown catch to go along with 82 receiving yards. Cole Beasley was third with five receptions for 70 yards. Even rookie Gabriel Davis made a big play, catching the touchdown that put the Bills back on top in the fourth quarter.

The weapons the Bills have at this position is going to be a nightmare for opposing defenses because most are not deep enough to guard all these pass catchers. This is going to create mismatches over the course of a game.
