Pressure Ryan Fitzpatrick

The last key to victory for the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins is to put pressure on Ryan Fitzpatrick. Hopefully, the Bills defensive line can keep their form from last week and carry it into this game.

Against the Jets, the Bills defense recorded three sacks on Darnold and plenty of quarterback hurries/pressures. This is the kind of stuff that is expected to continue and roll into their second matchup against the Dolphins.

As Bills fans know, Fitzpatrick tends to have very sporadic and polarizing performances. He can either wow you with his stat line and lead his team to victory or make fans scratch their heads wondering what he was thinking. Regardless, Bills fans are familiar with his style of play and the number of risks he’s willing to take, including putting his body on the line fighting for extra running yards.

Last week against the Patriots, Fitzpatrick threw three interceptions on just 30 passing attempts. With the Bills superb secondary, the key in this game is to force Fitzpatrick to make those risky throws. By combining an efficient pass rush with an excellent play on the back end of the Bills defense, this should formulate into a couple of Bills forced turnovers.

Additionally, life could be even more difficult for Fitzpatrick this coming Sunday if his number one wide receiver DeVante Parker cannot play due to a lingering hamstring injury.
