Find out what the site expert at PhinPhanatic has to say about the Miami Dolphins ahead of the Buffalo Bills game Sunday.

The Buffalo Bills are 1-0 on the 2020 season after a 27-17 win over the New York Jets at Bills Stadium. They will now travel on the road to take on another division rival, the Miami Dolphins, a team they swept last season.

However, this is not the same Dolphins team from a year ago and should be a much tougher challenge. We had a chance to talk with Brian Miller, who is the site expert at PhinPhanatic, to find out more about the Buffalo Bills Week 2 opponent.

Buffalowdown: The Miami Dolphins spent a lot of money this offseason on their defense. How do you think they looked in Week 1 against the New England Patriots?

Brian Miller: Like garbage. Not a big fan of Chan Gailey, someone you all remember well in Buffalo. His offense was pretty predictable but the defense’s inability to stop the rushing attack of the Patriots was hard to watch.

Buffalowdown: Another position that saw significant change was at running back with the additions of Jordan Howard and Matt Breida. In the game against the Patriots, they struggled on the ground. Is there any concern here?

Brian Miller: More a concern about why they were not used. I am still trying to figure out why Gailey and Brian Flores would use Myles Gaskin more than the other two considering the experience and shortened off-season.

This one is a headscratcher for sure and I wish I had a better answer for you. I think Breida could be very good but why trade for a guy that you are going to keep on the sidelines?

Buffalowdown: Ryan Fitzpatrick is coming off a three interception game but Brian Flores has already said he is sticking with him for this week. If Fitzpatrick struggles, what do you think the chances are the Buffalo Bills see Tua Tagovailoa in this game?

Brian Miller: I would be shocked if Tagovailoa plays before Week 4 and even that is really generous. Fitzpatrick is well-liked by the coaching staff and they know he has games like Sunday. The problem is that Tagovailoa isn’t a player you stick in right now to win games, but instead to get experience for the future.

The Dolphins would have been better keeping Josh Rosen to switch to early if Fitzpatrick struggled but honestly, that wouldn’t have been a great situation either. Nope, this is going to be a Fitzpatrick team for the foreseeable future.

Buffalowdown: How do you see this game playing out and what do you think the final score will be?

I think the game will be a better-played game by the Dolphins than you all faced against the Jets in Week 1. But I also know that the Dolphins can’t stop the run and Josh Allen is going to be hard to contain.

Looking at the Buffalo Bills defense, the Dolphins better come up with something or it will be on the defense to simply keep it looking good on the scoreboard. I don’t see Miami winning this game and I think it will end with the Buffalo Bills scoring about 27 and Miami 13.
