Gabriel Davis

The rookie who played the most in Week 1 for the Buffalo Bills was surprisingly wide receiver Gabriel Davis. This isn’t a surprise because he isn’t a good player, he actually had a very good training camp. The reason is that the Buffalo Bills are just so deep at wide receiver it was hard to find a path for him to get playing time.

However, it looks like the Buffalo Bills could be changing their offensive philosophy this season and the Bills were in much more four wide sets. This creates a great opportunity for Davis who played 49% of the team’s offensive snaps.

He finished the game with two receptions for 16 yards.

While the rookie may not surpass Cole Beasley on the depth chart, he is going to be used regularly this season.
