The Buffalo Bills defense is still really good

The strength of this team has been their defense and on Sunday, even with the improved output by the offense, this is still the case. The Bills held the Jets to 254 total yards and 69 of them came on one play as Jamison Crowder broke a few tackles and won a foot race to the end zone.

The defense was able to hold the Jets to five or fewer plays on seven drives, sacked Sam Darnold three times, and forced two turnovers.

The biggest concern for the Bills defense is injuries as the team saw a number of key players have to leave during the course of the game. In the first half, the Bills had Micah Hyde leave for a few plays but he was able to return.

The linebacker position was hit particularly hard as they saw Matt Milano, Tremaine Edmunds and Tyrel Dodson all leave due to injuries. Sean McDermott was not able to provide an update after the game. Hopefully, Milano and Edmunds are not forced to miss any extended period of time because of how important they are to this defense.
