Impact of Stefon Diggs

The biggest offseason acquisition for the Buffalo Bills was wide receiver Stefon Diggs and all eyes were on the new star wide receiver. While he didn’t find the end zone, Diggs was productive with eight receptions for 85 yards.

However, Diggs’ impact on this offense goes past the box score. There is no question that defenses are going to be keying in on Stefon Diggs this season which opens up the other wide receivers, like John Brown who had six receptions for 70 yards and one touchdown.

The impact Diggs has was evident early in the game near the goal line as Diggs sat down near the goal line and two New York Jets defenders covered him allowing Dawson Knox to sneak behind him. As the play is going on, Diggs is actually pointing to Knox in the back of the end zone.

The pass fell incomplete but that is the type of attention Stefon Diggs commands and the other playmakers on the team will benefit from this.
