These are the top takeaways from the Buffalo Bills performance in Week 1 against the New York Jets.

The Buffalo Bills for the second straight year start the season 1-0 with a win over the New York Jets. While the end result was the same the game flow was drastically different.

Last season, the Buffalo Bills needed a fourth quarter comeback to win 17-16 while this time around they were able to jump out to a 21-0 lead, and while the New York Jets answered with 10 straight points that is the closest they would get. The Buffalo Bills were able to secure the win by a score of 27-17 after recovering an onside kick after the Jets’ final touchdown in the fourth quarter.

This was the first time that fans got to see this year’s version of the Buffalo Bills since there were no preseason games and training camp was restricted to fans. There was plenty to like from this game for the Buffalo Bills but there are also some concerns coming out of Week 1 that will likely try to be addressed before next week’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

These are the top takeaways for the Buffalo Bills from their 27-17 win over the New York Jets in Week 1.
