The Buffalo Bills will already be without one starter on Sunday as Josh Norman has already been ruled out.

On Friday, the Buffalo Bills released their first injury report of the season and the team announced that their starting cornerback, Josh Norman, will not be playing against the New York Jets.

This means that the team will turn to Levi Wallace to start opposite Tre’Davious White. While Levi Wallace did appear on the injury report as well, he practiced in full every day and did not receive an injury designation.

The team had Wallace start all 16 games last year but he was competing with Norman for the job this summer. When the team announced their first depth chart it was Norman who was listed as the starter.

This shouldn’t be too much of a concern for the Bills as the defense was one of the best against the pass with Wallace in the starting lineup. The Jets also have some injuries of their own at wide receiver and won’t be at full strength.

The only other player with an injury designation was defensive tackle Vernon Butler, who also was listed as a starter, is questionable for Sunday. He was limited during Wednesday’s practice due to a hamstring injury. However, he was a full participant on Thursday and Friday so he should be all set to play against the New York Jets.

Another player on the injury report was Taiwan Jones, who was dealing with a knee injury. He was limited on Wednesday but also practiced in full both days. He should have no problems on Sunday and will be a key piece of the special teams for the Buffalo Bills.

The last player on the list was Jake Fromm but the reason was the team designated him as their “quarantine quarterback” so he is practicing away from the team in the event there may be an outbreak.
