These are the top four questions for the Buffalo Bills entering Week 1.

The Buffalo Bills will be kicking off the 2020 season on Sunday against the New York Jets at Bills Stadium. The Bills have spent roughly the past month practicing and ramping up in preparation for the regular season.

However, the start of the season could look very different considering there were no preseason games prior to this season. That is why there is a little bit more uncertainty for all teams heading into this first game and these are the top four questions for the Buffalo Bills entering Week 1.

How does the Buffalo Bills’ coaching staff manage the snaps of their starters?

The biggest question is how much playing time the coaching staff will give their players in this first game. As previously mentioned, the Bills didn’t have any preseason games to try and help their players get their bodies prepared for the regular season.

During the preseason, NFL teams have typically worked their way up to at least a half of football by the third preseason game. However, this time around there isn’t the luxury of having that ramp-up period.

The question becomes does this potentially open the door for more injuries, something that other teams have had to deal with during training camp. The Buffalo Bills have been lucky in this department so far but they could try to rotate their players through a little more on Sunday against the Jets in hopes of avoiding serious injuries.
