Starting cornerback opposite Tre’Davious White

The top training camp battle for the Buffalo Bills was undoubtedly at the cornerback position opposite Tre’Davious White. The team announced their winner with the depth chart and elected to go with the veteran, Josh Norman.

Norman knows this defense well and at one time played like one of the best corners in the NFL while with the Carolina Panthers with Sean McDermott as his defensive coordinator. The hope is that he can recapture some of that magic now that he is reunited with McDermott in Buffalo.

This means that last year’s starter, Levi Wallace, will be the team’s backup. However, the coaching staff may rotate the two players in the first few weeks to find out who should be the starter. The lack of preseason games certainly creates a challenge while evaluating these players and who is the best player for the job.
