The Buffalo Bills had five players on their first injury report ahead of Week 1 against the New York Jets.
The Buffalo Bills held practice on Wednesday and they released their first injury report of the season. The team had five players listed on the injury report but only one player who missed practice due to injury.
That player was Josh Norman, who missed practice due to a hamstring injury. The veteran corner suffered the injury midway through training camp but was trending towards being ready for Week 1. The coaching staff could just be cautious but is worth watching in the coming days.

The good news is that the other cornerback who suffered a hamstring, Levi Wallace, was a full participant. He had been competing with Norman for the starting job and while Norman was listed as the starter, it may be Levi Wallace who takes the field Sunday against the New York Jets.
The other three players on the injury report, Taiwan Jones, Vernon Butler, and Jake Fromm, were all listed as limited. Jones and Butler both had missed time during training camp but being limited is a good sign.
Vernon Butler is another player to watch over the next few days as he also was named a starter by the Buffalo Bills on their first unofficial depth chart, which was released Wednesday.
As for Jake Fromm, he was listed on the injury report as ‘Not Injury’ and Sal Capaccio at WGR550 provided an explanation. The Bills fifth round rookie is being used as the emergency quarterback. If their top two quarterbacks are forced to miss time due to COVID-19, then Fromm would be the player to replace them.
Bills QB Jake Fromm was not with the team at practice today due to a previously-scheduled practice regimen that allows him to socially distance from his teammates. This is a precautionary measure the Bills are taking in the event either of the team's top 2 QBs tests positive...

This is strictly a move just as a precaution and is something the Buffalo Bills will likely continue to do throughout the year.
