Buffalo Bills: Predicting the 2020 depth chart after roster moves
Buffalo Bills Cornerbacks
Starters: Tre’Davious White, Josh Norman, Taron Johnson (nickel)
Bench: Siran Neal, Levi Wallace
The cornerback position is the other position that has the most uncertainty at this time. The two players, Levi Wallace and Josh Norman, who were competing for the starting job opposite Tre’Davious White have been dealing with hamstring injuries. If both are healthy, the edge likely will go to the veteran and Norman will get the start against the Jets.
The depth at the position is a bit of a concern with only Siran Neal and Levi Wallace but the Buffalo Bills may try to bring up some cornerbacks from their practice squad during the course of the week.
Buffalo Bills Safeties
Starters: Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer
Bench: Dean Marlowe, Jaquan Johnson
There wasn’t any change at the safety position and frankly, there didn’t really need to be. The duo of Hyde and Poyer is one of the best in the league and while it would be great to have more experience with Marlowe and Johnson, they know this system well and should be able to step in if the need arose.
Buffalo Bills Special Teams
Starters: Tyler Bass (K), Corey Bojorquez (P), Reid Ferguson (LS)
These positions have all been set for a little while after the Buffalo Bills released Stephen Hauschka and Lachlan Edwards earlier in training camp.
