Buffalo Bills Linebackers

Starters: Matt Milano (OLB), Tremaine Edmunds (MLB), A.J. Klein (OLB)

Backups: Tyrel Dodson, Tyler Matakevich, Del’Shawn Phillips

The starters became pretty clear once Vosean Joseph was released, who potentially had an outside chance of winning the job to replace Lorenzo Alexander. That job went to the veteran A.J. Klein and while a starter his playing time will likely be limited due to the fact the Bills play so much nickel defense.

The backups could be a concern for the Bills since they have limited experience playing defense and Matakevich is the only one to play regular season snaps on defense of this group. The coaching staff spoke highly of Dodson during training camp and appear to have great faith in him.
