Buffalo Bills Running Backs

Starter: Devin Singletary

Backups: Zack Moss, Taiwan Jones, T.J. Yeldon

The gap between Devin Singletary and Zack Moss is probably the smallest between starter and backup of any position on the Buffalo Bills. This is a position that is almost going to be split right down the middle in terms of playing time between Singletary and Moss.

T.J. Yeldon will likely play a similar role to what he did last year where he will be inactive most weeks unless there is an injury. As for Taiwan Jones, he is listed third here because he will be active most weeks but it will be because of his play on special teams.

Buffalo Bills Wide Receivers

Starters: Stefon Diggs, John Brown, Cole Beasley (Slot)

Backups: Gabriel Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, Andre Roberts

The depth the Buffalo Bills have at wide receiver is incredible, especially considering where this group was only two years ago. They now entering with a core three of Diggs, Brown, and Beasley that will see a majority of the snaps this year.

When the Buffalo Bills go four wide, it will be Gabriel Davis that likely steps onto the field. Isaiah McKenzie, who has been a starter at times, will be more of a gadget player and will see occasional snaps during the course of a game.

Andre Roberts rounds out the position and he returns to the Bills as their primary kick returner.

Buffalo Bills Tight Ends

Starter: Dawson Knox

Backups: Tyler Kroft, Lee Smith, Reggie Gilliam

For the time being, this will be the Buffalo Bills tight ends but with Tommy Sweeney on the PUP list, he will eventually join this group and potentially replace Lee Smith or Reggie Gilliam.

Entering the season, Dawson Knox is the unquestioned starter with Tyler Kroft coming onto the field in two-tight end sets. As for Lee Smith, he will be involved in heavy run schemes as he is primarily just an additional blocker when on the field.

The undrafted free agent Reggie Gilliam made the team, which was a bit of a surprise, but will primarily play special teams this coming season.
