Norman sidelined with hamstring injury

Injuries have once again plagued the Buffalo Bills at training camp as Josh Norman will be forced to sit out due to a hamstring injury. Norman was hurt on Thursday’s practice and with no time table to return, it is unclear if he will be ready to go for the start of the season.

Norman, 32, signed with the Bills after a very lackluster stint with Washington where he appeared to have lost a step. In signing with the Bills, it was the hope of him and Bills fans that he would be able to rekindle what he had in Carolina. Over the past two seasons, Norman has only recorded four interceptions, which he was able to do in his 2015 Pro Bowl season with the Panthers, and 16 defended passes.

His addition to the Bills was seen as a big one as it would provide depth to the Bills secondary and provide competition for the adjacent starting corner position to Tre’Davious White. With Norman out now indefinitely, it is assumed that Levi Wallace could gain an edge and possibly continue to occupy the starting corner position just as he did last season.
