Haason Reddick
The Arizona Cardinals linebackers is one of the strengths of their defense with Jordan Hicks, De’Vondre Campbell, Chandler Jones and they went out and drafted Isaiah Simmons in the first round of the NFL Draft.
The depth they have means that someone like Haason Reddick could be the odd man out. Since the Cardinals did not pick up his fifth year option he is entering the final year with them and looks to be a potential cut before the season.
He has certainly been a disappointment since the Cardinals used a first round pick on him in 2017. However, at 25 years of age there is still a chance for him to turn his career around if he lands in the right situation.
That situation may be with the Buffalo Bills as an outside linebacker. Since entering the league, Reddick bounced around to a few positions but had his most success as an outside linebacker in Steve Wilks’ defense. Wilks was the person who took over for Sean McDermott as defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers in 2017 before becoming head coach of the Arizona Cardinals in 2018.
The Buffalo Bills did add A.J. Klein as the possible replacement for Lorenzo Alexander but a player like Reddick, with his pass rushing ability, could be the better option.
