These are the four best players to play for the Buffalo Bills who never made it to the Pro Bowl in their career.

Over the years, the Buffalo Bills have had some all-time greats suit up for them from Jim Kelly to Bruce Smith to Thurman Thomas. These players were regularly in the mix for league-wide awards like Pro Bowls.

However, a Pro Bowl nomination wasn’t always the perfect measure of success. There are a number of players who played for the Bills that were consistent and key parts of their teams but never got that Pro Bowl recognition.

These are the four best players to play for the Buffalo Bills who never earned a trip to the Pro Bowl.

Reggie McKenzie

The first player on this list is guard Reggie McKenzie, who the Buffalo Bills drafted in the second round of the 1972 NFL Draft. He would go on to play 11 years for the Bills through the 1982 season and started 147 games over that span.

He was a key part of ‘The Electric Company’, the nickname for the Bills offensive line that blocked for running back O.J. Simpson. The amazing part is that McKenzie actually earned a first-team All-Pro nomination for his performance in 1973 but never earned a trip to the Pro Bowl during his NFL career.
