These are five things to watch for as the Buffalo Bills begin padded practice this week.

The pandemic has created challenges and changed up what everyone has come to expect leading up to the start of the regular season. For the Buffalo Bills, there was no OTAs, training camp was moved from St. John Fisher College to One Bills Drive and there will be no preseason games this year.

The training camp schedule has even drastically changed as players began to report earlier this month and over the past few weeks have gone through conditioning, light workouts and walkthroughs. However, that all begins to change this week as the Buffalo Bills will start padded practices.

These practices are going to be critical for the Buffalo Bills as this will be the first time players actually start to hit in preparation for their Week 1 matchup against the New York Jets. The coaching staff will need to use this time to evaluate their roster, finding starters and begin to make tough decisions as they have to cut the roster down later this month.

These are five things to watch for over the next few weeks as the Buffalo Bills hold padded practices in preparation for the 2020 season.
