Buffalo Bills: Updated 53-man roster projections after recent moves
Cornerback (6)
Tre’Davious White, Josh Norman, Levi Wallace, Taron Johnson, Dane Jackson, Siran Neal
The depth at cornerback is once again going to be a concern all season, especially if the Buffalo Bills were to lose Tre’Davious White for an extended period of time. The battle opposite White is going to be one to watch closely between Josh Norman and Levi Wallace, but both should still make the roster regardless who wins.
At nickel, Taron Johnson remains the starter but with the release of Akeem King this likely means that Siran Neal is the big nickel and seventh-round rookie Dane Jackson makes the roster as the final cornerback.
Safety (4)
Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Dean Marlowe, Jaquan Johnson
There isn’t much surprise, or change from the previous projections, at this position. The Bills will have Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer as the Buffalo Bills’ starters with Dean Marlowe and Jaquan Johnson as backups. If the need were to arise, Neal could step in at the position as well.
