Buffalo Bills: Updated 53-man roster projections after recent moves
Running Back/Fullback (4)
Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, T.J. Yeldon, Patrick DiMarco
This was one of the toughest positions to cut down and it would not be surprising to see T.J. Yeldon or Patrick DiMarco released and Taiwan Jones added back on the roster.
If the Buffalo Bills were to keep Taiwan Jones, it would significantly diminish DiMarco’s chances of making the roster. One of the reasons DiMarco would be kept is more for his special teams play versus his play at fullback. This is not to say he is a bad fullback but the Bills haven’t utilized him much during his time in Buffalo and now with additional weapons, the use of a fullback will be limited.
As for Yeldon, and the reason he made the 53-man roster, is because the Buffalo Bills do have two talented running backs at the top with Devin Singletary and Zack Moss but both are very inexperienced. It would be good to have a veteran in that position room that can be a leader but also step in if the need were to ever arise.
