Cody Ford

There is no question that the Buffalo Bills want Cody Ford to be a big part of their future, and more specifically, want him as their starting right tackle. The injury to Jon Feliciano created the perfect opportunity to move him inside to guard, a position that I believe Ford could develop into one of the best at.

However, the Bills signed Brian Winters and it appears the team is going to continue to see how Cody Ford develops at right tackle. During his rookie season, Ford was inconsistent but showed enough flashes that gives the organization confidence in him at the position.

The coaching staff is going to be watching closely how Ford does during training camp and one of the reasons he is under pressure is because of the presence Daryl Williams on the roster. The Bills signed Williams and he is a former second-team All-Pro at the position. If Ford struggles, or doesn’t show improvement, Williams could push him for the starting job.
