Number 4: New York Jets
The potential is there for the Sam Darnold to Breshad Perriman pairing to finish the year as one of the best however entering 2020 there is too much uncertainty to move them up any higher.
There is no question that Sam Darnold has not had the start to his career the Jets had hoped when they selected him third overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played 13 games each of the first two seasons and has a career completion percentage of 59.9% with 36 touchdowns and 28 interceptions.
During those first two years, Darnold had Robby Anderson as his top wide receiver who is an excellent deep threat. However, Anderson joined the Carolina Panthers and the Jets went out and got Breshad Perriman, another wide receiver who has great speed and the ability to get over the top of defenses.
However, Perriman struggled to live up to his first round selection in 2016 by the Baltimore Ravens. Although over the second half of last year it seemed to come together and Perriman had three straight games with over 100 receiving yards and four touchdowns during that stretch.
There is no question the talent is there but these two have plenty to prove if they want to move up in these rankings.
