Top Free Agent Options

There is no free agent cornerbacks that are in the same class as Tre’Davious White but there are a few that have been number one wide receivers in the past. There are three cornerbacks currently on the market that might make sense for what the Buffalo Bills need.

At the top of the list would probably be Dre Kirkpatrick, who was previously with the Cincinnati Bengals. Kirpatrick was a first round pick by the Bengals in 2012 and has started 67 games over the past eight years. While he has never made the Pro Bowl, he has been an effective corner over that time and has 10 career interceptions and 302 tackles.

Another option might be Logan Ryan, who was previously with the Tennessee Titans but started his career with the New England Patriots. He is coming off a great season with four interceptions, four forced fumbles, 4.5 sacks and 113 total tackles. The concern with Ryan is that he did this primarily as a slot corner and how would he do moving to the outside.

The final option could be Aqib Talib, who has probably earned the most accolades with five Pro Bowls as well as a Super Bowl win with the Denver Broncos. However, he is at the tail end of his career at 34 years of age and has played only 13 games over the past two years due to injury.
