The Buffalo Bills finally got their new star wide receiver in the facility with the start of training camp. This is just one of the top stories in this week’s Monday Morning Charge.

In what may have been the most anticipated moment of the offseason for Buffalo Bills fans, the moment finally arrived where they got their chance to see Stefon Diggs in the Bills’ blue and red.

The Bills made one of the biggest trades of the offseason when they sent four draft picks, including the first round pick in this year’s NFL Draft, to the Minnesota Vikings for wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

However, due to the changes caused by the pandemic, the Bills haven’t had a chance to see their new receiver outside of a virtual setting. That changed this week as Diggs was just one of the many players who arrived this week at One Bills Drive for the start of training camp.

With the trade now officially-official and Diggs finally being able to be seen in a Bills uniform, fans can now really start to get excited for the season to start. As to what we can expect from him and Josh Allen this season, it is reasonable to think that the duo will get off to a slow start due to the COVID-19’s impact on the absence of a traditional offseason.

With no real chance for the two to get acclimated in a preseason setting against defensive units other than their own, Weeks 1 to 3 may be a little rocky for Diggs and Allen. However there is reason to believe that the two will get clicking at some point in the season and will really give the team another gear.

As the days of his time with the Minnesota Vikings are now a chapter of his past and a new one begins with the Buffalo Bills, it is expected that Diggs will be looking the part all season while helping the team secure their first division title in nearly two decades.
