Do the Buffalo Bills have enough depth?

One of the biggest concerns for the linebacker position is do they have enough depth? The better question is whether the coaching staff is confident in the players they have to play extended time if the need were to arise.

The good news and one of the reasons this may not also not be a big concern is that A.J. Klein has experience playing all three linebacker position. If the Buffalo Bills unfortunately lost Tremaine Edmunds, Klein could step in as middle linebacker. He did this when the Panthers lost Luke Kuechly to injury in past years and he did a good job filling in.

However, this really only becomes an option if Vosean Joseph is to win Lorenzo Alexander’s job because this frees up Klein to become the versatile backup. If Klein is the starter, then this would be additional pressure on Joseph, Corey Thompson or Tyrel Dodson to step in and all three are essentially unknown at this point.
