The Buffalo Bills still have their foundation at linebacker but did make some changes at the position this offseason.

The Buffalo Bills linebacker position is one of the reasons that the defense as a whole is one of the best in the league. The team boasts two of the more athletic linebackers in the league with Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano.

These two players allows the team to operate in more nickel defenses but not lose much in terms of production. Both players have incredible speed for the position and can cover sideline to sideline, giving this defense what other teams need three linebackers to do.

The Bills will be entering this year though with some changes as veteran Lorenzo Alexander retired after the year. The front office did go out and sign free A.J. Klein, who Sean McDermott is familiar with from their days in Carolina. They also signed Tyler Matakevich but he has primarily been a special teams ace and has played limited snaps on defense.

The depth at the position could be a concern because they have limited experience with Vosean Joseph, Tyrel Dodson and Corey Thompson as backups. Thompson is the only one who has played a regular season snap, playing only 137 career defensive snaps.

These are the top three questions at linebacker for the Buffalo Bills entering training camp.
