Changes at Quarterback
The first thing that obviously would be impacted is that the Buffalo Bills would not have gone through as many quarterbacks over that time period. The team likely would have kept Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starting quarterback in 2012 as rookie Russell Wilson developed.
However, starting in 2013 things would look drastically different. The Buffalo Bills would not have used their first round pick on EJ Manuel, would not have signed Kyle Orton as a free agent in 2014 or Tyrod Taylor in 2015, would not have drafted Cardale Jones in 2016, Nathan Peterman in 2017 or Josh Allen in 2018.
Since 2012, the Bills have had 10 different quarterbacks start at least one game for them. The good news is that the team appears to have their best chance at a franchise quarterback currently with Josh Allen but a player like Russell Wilson would have certainly changed the trajectory of this franchise.
