These are the top 3 questions for the Buffalo Bills at defensive tackle entering training camp.

The Buffalo Bills defensive tackle saw a great deal of change this offseason and this group could look vastly different than it did last year. These changes create a number of questions at the position as the team heads into training camp.

Last year, the coaching staff had one big question and that was how do they replace Kyle Williams, who retired after 13 seasons with the Bills. The franchise used the ninth overall pick on Ed Oliver, but the rookie had a slow start last year but finished really well over the second half of the season.

One of the bright spots early in the season was Harrison Phillips, who looked to be heading towards overtaking Star Lotulelei for the starting job but an ACL injury in Week 3 cost him the remainder of the season.

The biggest storyline was without question the performance of Jordan Phillips, who saw his playing time increase after Harrison Phillips’ injury. He went on to have a breakout year with 9.5 sacks. However, the Bills once again are left trying to replace a key player as Jordan Phillips left the team in free agency.

The Bills did add more depth in the form of free agent signings of Quinton Jefferson and Vernon Butler. All of this considered, these are the Top 3 questions for the Buffalo Bills at defensive tackle.
