Last cut/Practice Squad: Robert Foster

Foster has been an interesting case over the last two seasons, from undrafted free agent standout with 541 yards and 3 touchdowns in his rookie season, to non-existent in 2019.

Foster was pushed out of his starting spot when John Brown was brought to the team and was never able to produce in a backup role. Producing only 3 receptions for 64 yards on 18 targets. Not offering any return ability on special teams, and with the addition of Gabriel Davis, the writing seems to be on the wall for Foster. If he sneaks through waivers, he would be a good practice squad candidate.

Practice Squad: Duke Williams

The fan favourite “Duuuuuuuke” had ample opportunity last season to make a name for himself, though he made some nice plays, he simply wasn’t consistent enough to be relied upon.

Remembered for his great game winning touchdown pass versus the Titans:

Williams was an awesome story and should be commended for his drive, but his mental lapses in concentration with the football will be to his detriment. Buffalo brought in another rookie in Hodgins who should be able to do a better job than Williams.
