Buffalo Bills: Tre’Davious White not concerned with Madden 21 rating
As the Madden 21 ratings are released one of the most talked about is the rating for Tre’Davious White. However, the Buffalo Bills cornerback isn’t concerned and has his focus elsewhere.
One of the more talked about topics around the NFL has been the updated ratings for players in Madden 21. The Buffalo Bills are coming in lower than expected and one player, Tre’Davious White, appears to be extremely underrated.
According to Madden School, the Bills cornerback will have a rating of 89, which is the second highest on the team behind wide receiver Stefon Diggs, and is a full ten points behind New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
There is no question this was disappointing considering White played almost on the same level as Gilmore last year with both players leading the league in interceptions with six. Tre’Davious White also had 58 total tackles and 17 passes defended, which was tied for third in the league, and was selected to the first-team All-Pro and made his first Pro Bowl last year.
The Buffalo Bills cornerback responded to the criticism and made it clear that his focus was not on his Madden rating.
Tre’Davious White, who was the first round pick by the Bills in 2017, said he doesn’t even own a video game system and the focus is on a Super Bowl title and raising the Lombardi Trophy in Buffalo.
It certainly isn’t surprising that players give so much attention to these ratings as these are all highly competitive. However, it is nice to hear a player have his focus towards team achievements rather than individual accolades.
