Pass Rushing

Jefferson finished the 2019 season fifth in pass rush among defensive tackles with a win rate of 16% as per ESPN. Trailing only Maliek Collins, Chris Jones, Grady Jarrett and Aaron Donald, there’s no debating that Jefferson was one of the best pass rushers from the interior in the league last season.

The former Seahawk does a great job of disengaging from blocks using his 33 3/8 inch long arms, which he constantly uses to win against guards.

During Week 1 versus the Cincinnati Bengals, Jefferson was lining up all over the defensive line, he played at the 0-tech, 1-tech and 3-tech showing his great versatility. He also has the ability to play the 5-tech, which he will be flexed to with Buffalo at certain times.

The All-22 breakdown below shows how he can win from any spot, and everything he did for the Seahawks defense.

Jefferson would finish with 2 sacks versus the Bengals and was a handful on the inside.

In the final week of the regular season against the 49ers the former Seahawks defensive tackle used his long arms to his advantage to get to the quarterback for the sack.

He quickly sticks his left arm into the guards chest and does a little swim move to get around him with ease for the negative play.

The Buffalo Bills love having their defensive lineman play with heavy hands, and Jefferson is no exception he constantly relies on them to win in pass sets.
