These are six predictions for which players on the Buffalo Bills will lead in certain stat categories.

The Buffalo Bills will be entering 2020 with an idea of the players that are going to lead in a number of categories. For example, barring an injury, Josh Allen is going to lead in almost all passing categories. On the defensive side of the ball, Tremaine Edmunds is the clear favorite to lead in snaps and tackles.

However, there are some categories that are up for grabs and even have some players that could be a surprise who ends up leading the Bills by the end of the season. These are six stat categories that could be competitive and these are our predictions on who will lead the team in 2020.

Receiving Yards

Last year, John Brown led the Buffalo Bills in receiving yards with 1,060 yards and it was the first time since 2015 that a Bills wide receiver broke the 1,000 yard mark. The last player to do it was Sammy Watkins with 1,047 yards.

This year, there is certainly going to be more competition for targets with the addition of not only Stefon Diggs but also Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Hodgins. There is no question that Josh Allen is going to have plenty more options this coming season so there is a good chance that the Bills leader in receiving yards could not break 1,000 yards.

It wouldn’t even be surprising to see the top three wide receivers (Diggs, Brown and Cole Beasley) all be within 200 yards of each other. However, at the end of the day the Bills didn’t trade a first round pick, along with other picks, to not get the ball to Stefon Diggs as much as possible and that is why he is the likely player to lead the Bills in receiving yards.

Leader: Stefon Diggs
