Key Matchup

Stefon Diggs vs. Stephon Gilmore

If there is one matchup that stands out and likely is the deciding factor in the outcome of the two games between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, it has to be between Bills’ wide receiver Stefon Diggs and Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year is one of the best cornerbacks in the league and was tied for the league lead last year with six interceptions. He is the key piece that makes the Patriots defense work and is critical for their success.

Meanwhile, Stefon Diggs was added this offseason to help quarterback Josh Allen take that next step in his career. The former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver is one of the best route runners in the NFL, has good hands and is a dangerous deep threat. If Stefon Diggs can become that top tier number one wide receiver it really is going to open up this Bills offense and help them reach their full potential.

This is going to be a matchup of strength vs. strength and the one player that wins is likely the team that will come away with the win.
