Mike Love

There is certainly a trend when looking at these players and it comes down to players who play a position that the Buffalo Bills have really good depth and they have been with the organization for a bit. Another player that fits that profile is defensive end Mike Love.

The Bills signed Mike Love as an undrafted free agent in 2018 but didn’t make the 53-man roster to start the year. He was signed to their practice squad but was activated and played in the final three games of the season. He would finish with five total tackles in those games and played over a quarter of the defensive snaps in the last two games.

This past year though Mike Love didn’t get a chance to make the 53-man roster as he was placed on injured reserve prior to the start of the year and missed the entire season.

The additions of Mario Addison and A.J. Epenesa, along with Jerry Hughes, Trent Murphy and Darryl Johnson still on the roster, makes it unlikely that Mike Love has a spot on the active roster this year.
