Find out where the Buffalo Bills offense ranks within the AFC East based off a point system of each position.

For the last few weeks, I have been putting together ranking lists for the offensive positions in the AFC East. Those lists included quarterback, running backs, wide receivers, tight end, and offensive line. Based on where each team ranked, they were translated into a points system. Basically, where the team ranked in that certain position, was the amount of points they will end up getting. In the end, the team with the least amount of points ends up being on top.

It is old news now that Tom Brady is no longer a New England Patriot and is now a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. If you need proof, go check out the Instagram page for the Bucs and see what the GOAT looks like in his new threads. Since Tom Brady arrived in 2000, the Patriots have laid claim to the division title 17 times, which is a record that shouldn’t be touched for a while. The next closest are Ben Roethlisberger and Drew Brees, who are each sitting at 7 division titles each.

Now many would think that the AFC East is a wide open race that is up for grabs. With Tom Brady gone, of course one would think that. But when you look at each team more in depth, you can see that there seems to be an arms race going on with the potential decline of the Patriots on the horizon.

The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets were atrocious last season on the offensive side of the ball. They did make some noise in the offseason by adding some key acquisitions during free agency and in the NFL Draft. The Patriots pretty much stayed the same, aside from the obvious, and general manager Brandon Beane kept turning heads with some big moves for the Buffalo Bills. Have these teams done enough to remain relevant in the AFC? Did the Dolphins, the Bills, and the Jets do enough to pry the reigns away from the Patriots to crown a new division champ? Only time will tell. But for now, based on the point system, here are your AFC East team rankings based on the current state of their offenses.
