While the Buffalo Bills have become a media favorite this offseason, NFL.com’s Adam Rank isn’t completely sold on this team.

The Buffalo Bills have become a bit of a media darling this offseason and it has become almost surprising when they aren’t picked to make the playoffs. That is why it was interesting to see NFL.com’s Adam Rank recently give his game-by-game predictions that had the Bills finishing 9-7 but finishing second in the AFC East and missing the playoffs.

There was certainly some surprises along the way as Rank went through each game on the Bills schedule and after a win Week 1 against the New York Jets, he predicts the Bills will go on a three game losing streak. During that run, the Bills would lose a road game to the Miami Dolphins, a home game against the Los Angeles Rams and a road game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

If the Bills were to start the year 1-3, it would likely be disastrous for this franchise because the schedule only gets harder after those first four games. As surprising as it was to see the Bills lose to teams like the Dolphins and Raiders, it was equally surprising to see Rank then has the Buffalo Bills going on a four game win streak, a streak that would include wins over three playoff teams from a season ago.

The win streak starts with a win on the road over the Tennessee Titans, then a primetime win over the Kansas City Chiefs and two weeks later a win over the New England Patriots.

While a record of 9-7 would be disappointing, this is certainly a real possibility will the tough schedule the Buffalo Bills have. However, it would be rather interesting to see them lose to teams like the Dolphins and the Raiders but come back to beat the Titans and the defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs.
